ok, who thinks Chinatsu is gonna die?!! CUASE I THINK HE WILL! I'm over here wishing and hoping that he won't! Why must we be left with such a cliff-hanger at this chapter?! Gawd, this is such a dramatic manga, but it's such a good dramatic manga. 😀

Eeek!! I don't think so. I mean, I like the fact that this manga is a bit more realistic than many "historical" shoujo manga, but it still seems sweet and happy enough that I'm not too worried about Chinatsu dying. That would be a really drastic turn of events!! But I'm glad Ogura-sensei chose to deal with the historical events of the time period, rather than completely ignoring them in favour of happy-fantasy-land shoujo-fluff.

But wow, I really enjoyed chapter 7. It definitely boosted my opinion of the whole series... (which I enjoyed well enough to begin with!). It was also nice seeing the couple in a shoujo manga actually spend time together just being a (realistically) happy, cute couple and going about their daily life, rather than constantly having to confront various contrived/cliché obstacles (and the obstacles they do face make sense/are believable).

Okay, I think my thoughts are just going in circles now... anyway, it was a great chapter and I'm really really looking forward to the final two! And wishing for Chinatsu's safe return 🙂
