I kind of preferred the old design more.

It was looking terrible for me in Firefox until I realized I'd killed many of the images with Firefox (including the mascot, sorry!). I'm sure it's fine otherwise.

but it's just making it wider by a few pixels 😐
Compact may be nice, but we've gotta get with the times. 800x600 is soooo last decade.
I support this idea very much so. :]

Aye 'tis fine. I get used to changes quickly.
I agree with bringing the search bar down though. Test2 looked good.

that's a lot of comments in a few hours...
personally i don't like the change in layout...the mascot stands out in an unpleasant way under the manga search box...
isn't there someway of putting it in a top corner in a more blendable position?
btw, it doesn't match in anyway with the site banner....

actually, i just noticed there's a test 2, which is almost perfect except for the glaring differences between the mascot and the site banner

Mine looks perfect on ie and firefox, but there are a lot of blank white and overlapping places when I run it on chrome

I don't like it for probably same reasons as everyone else; the serach bar is too high, the mascot is cluttering the right side of it, and for me personaly I'm more comfortable with the narrower margin.
Nice effort to change though...
I have a signature?!

Onestly, I don't like it. The search string is too high.
I prefer the old layout. sorry :/
Was wind carrying our voiceless crying?
Some portion of our frozen mind had become snowy mist and was carried away by the wind...
Is that how you found us?

The table of links for News, What's new!, Forums, etc. is shoved to the bottom in Firefox 3.5.7 on MacOS X 10.5.8. Try validating your code at http://validator.w3.org. I did, and got a bunch of errors.
