Though I feel it may be a bit wider than a "few pixels," it's enough to be really unpleasing to the eyes. Especially for people with big screen, everything just seems to be placed really awkwardly far apart. 🤢

I have a wide screen and I feel that it looks better now.
Before, the site took only 1/3 of my screen's width.

the new width is awesome, and the layout isn't broken anymore in my browser...the manga search box seems to be too small for me, though, considering how it's one of the most important function in the entire website

just a suggestion btw, instead of having the mascot linked to its creator's profile, can it be linked to the About Us page on the right tab? most visitors who happen to stumble upon this website will not have much knowledge of recent events or insiders' information, and therefore will not comprehend why BU mascot would lead to a member's profile...
maybe there could be a couple of lines crediting the creator of the mascot in the About Us page, instead?

I agree! With test 3 I'm not so thrown out of whack by the search box being moved. I'm honestly a little bit like "where'd ya go?" with the current layout 🤣
