If her mother's chakra is special.. does that mean that she has a bloodline? so if she DOES have a bloodline... then naruto might have a hidden bloodline that he doesnt know about... I mean afterall he DID grew up by myself... so he might not have discovered his bloodline by himself... lols 😲

Naruto's conversation with his mother was much better than the one he had with his father; it felt more like a child getting to know his parent than what we got before. Naruto actually--shock of all shocks--asked her questions! (He needs to do that more often. For instance, I would highly advise Naruto get the story Madara told about the massacre of the Uchihas verified before he attempts to fight Sasuke again.) The "how we fell in love" stuff was not bad; I guess the mangaka can somewhat do romance after all.

If Kushina has "special" chakra, then I wonder if Kishimoto is opening the door for another powerup for Naruto? The Rasengan is his father's technique, so maybe Kushina had some kind of special attack that Naruto can learn and spam in every battle from now on. 😛

I want Naruto to have some bloodline power. Though isn't Minato kinda like too ruthless it seemed like he considered the village really really important, important enough to sacrifice himself, his love(narutoz mum ofcourse) and expose his child to years of pain?? I know hez the hokage and all that but still so much loyalty is really frightening. God I want this whole romance business to clear up now I have had enough of sakura not being able to decide and Naruto being a douche bag. Kishimoto should really resolve that aspect as well. Excellent chapter though

Wow .. This manga is getting even worse; Kishi is just repeating things now - Naruto is having problems with controlling the Kyuubi and BAM a dead relative comes along and scares the Kyuubi away with some gay fluff-power. I had hoped that the Kyuubi was impersonating Kushina to trick Naruto or something like that.

Next chapter: Naruto meets his great-granduncle!

I feel sorry for Lee; it seems hard work is useless, you can only become strong if you have good blood flowing in your veins or if you have a mother with 'special' chakra.. Kushina's chakra can probably subdue demons like the Shodai.

And why does everyone look fat in this manga!?

We have enough mangas focusing on heroes that are all hard work and the emphasis is just really on that. Naruto is hard working as well really. I believe in japanese mangas hard work is way too overrated and talent underrated. Its funny to see how some mangas believe that hard working fighters are able to beat natural prodigies and what not, that is not realistic they clearly underestimate what it means to be a prodigy.

I thought that chapter was alright. It was nice to see Naruto's parents background, in one chapter as well. You don't see that happening often.
It was interesting to see what his mother was like. I prefered that conversation than the one he had with his dad.

Lets get back to the fight now though.

I don't think Kishi will introduce a secret blood line in Naruto after almost 500 chapters. I mean, why haven't anybody told Naruto about his bloodline before then? I think her special chakra has something to do to with that time she beat those bullies half-dead. Some kind of uber-rage-mode?

OMG! I loved this chapter!!!!! Kushina was pretty amazing, I wish there would be more chapters with her and Minato!!!!

I like the fact that hes changing because I think it gives him depth as a character and kishi is showing us that unlike most manga where something big happens and the main character is unphased, that Naruto can actually change when something that should change him, changes his personality.

Thats wut keeps me reading this manga, i see how things are diferent from normal shounen.

About him hooking naruto with sakura... i dont think thats quite right as we can see in that flashback his parents end up together after the incident where his mother fell in love with his father they didnt put it as his father had anything to do with that 1st step beside saving her which any shinobi from konoja was trying to do. Beside, i believe naruto will end up with any girl with a mind/love crazy enough to leave the village for him as i dont think naruto will end up as a hokage at all he's more likely to end up like the rikugo senin.

P.D. did anyone else saw how they changed the conversation naruto had with itachi? i think he said in the manga "i left you something if u got to fight sakure" for i give you some of my skills" in the anime... i liked more the ambiguos part in the manga leaving room for any crap of those kishi's known for that surprice us. And i do not Hope kishi told those anime producers that it was skills wut itashi gave naruto's cuz 🙁 havin naruto with something that can fight the amaterasu/susanoo or some other kick ass skill to beat mandara's into tha moon. 🙁

Well despite it being kinda random to just throw his parents in there and stuff (I feel it could have been done in a different method). But in any case, it was kind of cool. Though it's kinda funny because his mom and dad somewhat reflects him and sakura... even though, I prefer Hinata... lol

Actually, this sounds plausible. I mean, there would be the obvious plot hole of why no one told Naruto this yet (Including Minato), but it could be possible.
