Hello. I have some questions about the story that I would like to know the answers to before I read any further, so if anyone could help out I'd appreciate it. I've finished chapter 21.

It seems to me that the managka is depicting the blade children rather sympathetically. That's fine. But they have still committed murders, and I'm worried that the series will end with them getting off totally free. I would definitely not be okay with that. In addition, the brother seems to be a real jerk. I really can't think of anything to excuse him ditching his wife and brother and then telling other people that it is okay to try and kill his brother. Please, don't say it's because "the older brother has faith in the protagonist that he has the ability to survive these situations" or "he left for his wife's safety." That's not good enough. For both the blade children and the older brother, no matter what startling information is revealed later on, I don't believe it can excuse what they've done, even if, for example, all the people the blade children murdered were revealed to be bad people.

So, what I want to know is: do the blade children and the older brother get what they deserve? I mean, it doesn't HAVE to be that they die or go to jail, but some sort of punishment/repentance is necessary. I really hate it when in a manga some sad past or something is revealed and that's supposed to make everything a character did okay. Oh, and please don't be too specific. If I keep reading I don't want too much revealed. Just some reassurance, okay? 😀

The blade children don't really get a punishment because they were born to go wreck havoc on the innocent people of the world. As for the brother... in a way he is punished. There's just a huge twist in the end though.

You should just keep reading until the end. It's sorta hard to explain without spoiling everything.
