Favourite crime series
I am on a roll now, after watching almost ALL the episodes of NCIS which can be addictive, I was looking for new ones and stumbled on Criminal Minds. This might be a ruse to find popular ongoing crime series 😀 ...though its odd to post this in this forum...
The ones mentioned above are the ones I liked and trust they are popular. So whats your fave?

Law and Order. Hands down.
I'm talking about the original "Law & Order". Not the branch offs.

I don't know if you'd classify these as crime series, but I prefer a little comedy with my murders, Psych, Monk, Pushing Daisies, and Medium. Otherwise, Cold Case and Without a Trace are okay, but L&O SVU is the best.
You've pretty much named mine too. Though my favs have to be Monk and Psych. And Burn Notice is my all time favorite show right now, but it's only kinda a crime show? =/ And I used to have an obsession with CSI: Miami and David Caruso and Adam Rodriguez... heh. Luv Cold Case (even though it's really sad) and Criminal Minds (Maaaaaaaaaaaaaatthew <3<3<3)
Forever lurking...

I've got enough crime in real life. Having one of your friends almost killed by a knife-wielding maniac for crossing the street might do that to you. I don't need to watch it dramatized on TV unless they're going to make me laugh. So, Monk and Psych are probably the only ones I'd ever watch.

Well, the idea is mainly murders and mystery/suspense at least to me ... but even though terrorism is obviously a crime but as that can be very broad in topic. ... 24 mainly focusses on drama, doesnt it?

Sopranos, Wire, Bebop.

COLUMBO~ Peter Falk was my teenage crush, big time. It's the glass eye that got me, really.
But Cold Case, Bones, and Nero Wolfe are good too.

Law & Order; by far the best TV empire ever created. Obviously it's got its ups and downs after what, 6 spin offs and 20 years? Still going strong though.
And yes, I've seen all the rest: from Columbo, Kojak, Hawaii 5-O, Murder She Wrote, Remington Steele, Due South, to more obscure ones like First Gentleman and Deadline. Speaking of which, does anyone know where I might be able to find those last two?
