Kuroko no Basuke Gets Anime
This year's 43rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that a television anime adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Kuroko no Basuke basketball manga has been green-lit. Production I.G will produce the anime.
In the story, Taiga Kagami has just enrolled into Seirin High School when he meets Tetsuya Kuroko of the school's basketball team. Kuroko happens to be the shadowy sixth member of the legendary "Generation of Miracles" basketball team. Together, Kagami and Kuroko aim to take their team to the inter-high school championship — against Kuroko's former teammates.
Fujimaki launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2008, and Shueisha will publish the 14th compiled book volume next month.

Production I.G.'s good. I was very impressed with the design for the Tsubasa OVAs and the Kimi ni Todoke anime series. No worries on that count.
