even though naruto and bleach arent my fav series, I feel like only the art makes them worth to watch, one pieces in otherhand totally crap

I really dislike Naruto. The plot is too dragged out while remaining relatively simple to be of interest to me (and yes, I have tried both the anime and the manga, and I can confidently say I don't like either.)

Bleach is little bit better, it's more inherently interesting and a bit more complex, but it too seems to drag on much longer than it needs to.

The only current shounen epics I like are D.Gray-man (because I find it a bit more complex and the action to be slightly higher quality), and Negima! (if you can really count that) because it combines a few more genres. But still, they aren't the most amazing series ever, it's more for when I feel like mindless entertainment.

Never read/watched Naruto. Ninjas in orange jumpsuits never appealed to me.

I liked Bleach (Manga and Anime) until the end of the Soul Society Arc. Then two things happened. Filler garbage in the anime, and boring same-old in the manga. After the Soul Society Arc, Ichigo should have just broken that old shinigami leader's hip by pushing him down a long flight of stairs and then taken over Soul Society. The end.

The start of Naruto and Bleach was interesting and fresh and drew in a large fan base. You can attribute it partly due to "mob mentality" or just people going with the flow. Shounen action manga are also easy to read and have an appeal to a wider audience, why are action movies so popular? Alot of people can settle for a simplier plot if you give them good action sequences and shiny special effects.

I agree with the fact that the Naruto anime is boring as hell. I only read the manga, and I only watch the anime when there is a really good fight. I like naruto because the character development is very deep. The plot is lackluster and everything else pisses me off. But the thing I can't stand the most about Naruto is how every meaningless character needs to have a back story.

Bleach is the same thing. the character development is rich with every character having their own past, present and goals, creating a very well written plot. But I admit that after the soul society arc, things seem to get jumbled and pointless.

So in short, I can tolerate Naruto, (at least that...)
and I enjoy bleach.

I like Naruto a lot. It's fun and not too serious and has good fights and back story to all the guys. It always surprises me with weird plot twists and the characters are all very likable.

Bleach is the same but witrh more blood and violence. It's nice that no one dies.

I can like whatever I want - even if it gets so that so many people like it that it gets trendy to pretend like you don't like it. =P

the way i see most peoples complaints here is that the stories are just not mature enough for your tastes apparently, if thats the case, read something like gantz or beserk. Don't understand why its so necessary for spam specifically on two series.

i personally don't dislike them in general, i hate the hype. the hype dat makes it imposible to look for any other series besides them.

Agree with you on Bleach but not liking Naruto I think says more about you than about Naruto. What manga do you enjoy? If One Piece is on the list then I'd have to dismiss your comments. Just me speaking.
