The next time the researcher goes there, there is a fine research facility set up. He builds a sort of an agricultural machine there, which is designed to accelerate cellular growth and thus to get good crops faster. When the boy visits the researcher, they boy ends up inside the machine, and when he comes out, he is a grown man...
