It seems so. It's still very much in the exposition stage of the story, so lets see where it goes.

As the series progresses it is building up on the feelings between Adachi and Shinagawa and there's some additional pinups that hint that the mangaka really intends to have them get together in the end. Also, as the series grows more characters are introduced: Chiba Seiya, Izumi Gaku, Himeji Rinka, Kumagaya Makoto, Akita, ect. So far I've read up to volume 7 (haven't bought 8 yet) and although romantic relationships aren't the main focus, they do play a part in the story.

I really loved the part with the focus on Chiba and Makoto in volume 5. When you learn Makoto's identity outside of the game, it'll make you laugh. :>

I think there will be romance in it but I read this manga cause of not the romance only caus Megane-chan rocks!!!! lol. if there is romance in it then it will be better! looking forward to more^^ Megane sure was hot! hmm the door she shutted must be her home! and she must be in a yakuza family!.. hahha I guess 😛 anyway hope it will still be funny as always 😛

their is definitley romance just as a little hint its building up in volume 7 and 8 and its still sooo funny

there's some romance building up, just really, really, really slowly...

well, romance is not listed as a genre so I would not expect too much. But your right I wish there was more.

It reminds me of GTO, a hilarious school life story but don't have much romance even characters in very good mood. They may develop more romance at the end of the story but the manga is still awesome without it. 😀

volume 6,7 is a big spoiler, so we'll see what happens.

I really like the way how the comedy overpowers romance, which really balances the series as a nice blend of shounen/shoujo

plus, this series is too funny. Though i'm anticipating some romance, I'm looking more forward to what other crazy antics the student council is up to.
