Does a site like this exist yet?

Unless there's a site like this already, but I'm wondering why this doesn't exist (to my knowledge):
A manga release aggregation site like Manga Updates, but since this place isn't allowed to host scanlation group site links anymore (to my knowledge, and the extension to fix it doesn't work), what about a site that just lists updates, and then links directly to the permalink posts or online reader pages of manga? And for everything else that isn't easily accessible (like release groups on IRC only, or old sites that went down), host those.
That way, it wouldn't require as much hosting, and the scanlation groups also get attention.
Or even just a "view on original scanlator's website" link on Batoto.
Sure, you can just stick with using MU and just google the release sites each time or use bookmarks, but many of us and I follow a LOT of series, so that's a huge pain... It's also a lot of extra clicking. It's not much, but it adds up.
I use Feedly, but I don't know how to filter series and stuff so I'd rather use a site like that.
Er... Is this a stupid idea? What do you think?

It's still technically linking to the sites,
and what you're asking is against the rules (the whole downloads area is a big no no).
The extension does work, btw. Try Opera or Firefox.
I had trouble enabling it on Opera, but Firefox runs it without a hitch.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.
