From the 1st chapter alone... I can feel more resemblance to the craziness present in Busou Renkin compared to his original work... Oh well.... It is a reboot in a sort of sense I guess

True, probably because Busou Renkin came out later his style changed to that. Though I do not think that it was for the better since the original Kenshin had a far better less exaggerated art style (for the most part of the series).
