Japanese pumpkins are so good. I know it's a winter squash not exactly a pumpkin, but close enough.

Yeah. That's all. Try it.

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"

I've never had either, but I'd like to give them a try one day. xD

Japanese pumpkin.. I grew up eating it so it's hard for me to dislike it. ^^; Thought I don't dislike the American ones, I don't favor them as much as the Japanese ones.

Though pumpkin pie is a definite love! haha 😃

Damn. Now I feel like eating pumpkin pie. Japanese pumpkin isn't bad but I wouldn't know what to do with it. I've experience cooking pumpkin in various ways though.

Just to eat as a vegetable, I much prefer Japanese pumpkins. Kabocha = <3 !!

For pumpkin pies I prefer American pumpkins, though.

Never really used American pumpkins for anything other than carving and seeds.

Chinese pumpkins, which I assume, is similar, if not the same, to Japanese pumpkins, can be made into quite a delicious dish. So I choose Japanese pumpkins.
