It depends on whether it's red blood cells or blood plasma being donated. They're usually reversed. For example, AB blood types can receive RBC from A type and B type, but can't give to either, but AB blood types can give blood plasma to both A or B, but can only receive from other AB types.

AB+ is the universal receiver and O- is the universal donor. The reason being a positive blood type can receive both the positive and negative, but a negative blood type can only receive negatives.

Same as the band, Type O negative. I don't believe that these things are that accurate though, although some of those traits fit me or what I would wish that I was.

My blood type is generally thought of by Koreans as the secret-keeping type. There's also a movie based on the blood type, and music video.
