Hi! I can't remember a yaoi manga that had childhood friends - one friend motivated the other to do a modeling or acting job by saying that he was beautiful. The story fast forwards to high school, and the other friend has become quite famous. The non-famous friend asks the famous friend why he goes to his regular school when he could go to a special school for famous people/actors. There are misunderstandings between them, and eventually they get together.
