i am south korean, and i honestly would only recommend it if you're going to be staying in a relatively safe area of the country. south korean teenagers and students tend to be all tough and mighty and the culture there is different. the pros however, outweigh the cons. the language is much easier to learn than chinese and japanese, and the people there love foreigners (but they can be racist to some... "darker" people. not trying to be racist, but it's the sad truth.) you will also get exposed to a lot more kpop in korea, which i consider a good thing 😀 there are times when celebrities hang out around town in seoul. try to avoid high schoolers though.. i almost got mugged there one summer 🙁

all i can say for china is to bring a gas mask xD jkjk i kid.

If you are about to enroll, I really can't give you accurate info. There are a lot of public and private institutions into these topics, but you have to investigate by yourself or through your counselor. As I know, you can also check into the different embassies' websites of your country, there are very good scholarships (obviously, you'll have to fight for them) to study your degree overseas.

Otherwise (currently in a program), most of the universities/colleges have a division/department in charge of these matters, where they guide you with the requirements, destinies, economic support, how to live at, etcetera. If you are somewhere in North America sorry for stalking into your profile, I have heard of this one, I think Korea is there and gives general info about what you are looking for.

I would not be enrolling in any schools...the programs are teaching opportunities. I looked into info and what the programs, such as housing, money, and assistance in the country.
As for info, I wanted to kno lil more bout the cultures, I read books and have watched tv shows (kdramas, etc) and I should b able to adjust I believe somewhat quickly (I'm gonna graduate as cultural anthropologist lol).

"they can be racist to some... "darker" people. not trying to be racist, but it's the sad truth." Dam I'm brown...Asian lol, it's kool I grew up in Detroit,mi,USA....idk ill apply and see what happens....I wanna see kdramas and tdramas actresses lol 😀
