recently I've found Silver Diamond. And found out that the licensing stuff was made so well that you can't read ANYTHING at all online besides the first 20 pages on tokyopop.
What annoys me. The manga is good, but twenty pages are too few.
So now I've got a .. "little" problem: I've got no problem buying manga, but I don't want to buy a manga I know nearly nothing about. (bad experiences) Now my question: If you've got the volumes at home, or maybe if you were able to download the scanlation, can you flip through them? I want to know whether it's a subtle/nice shounen ai-story or a very hot/smutty one. Examples for the first: Let dai, banana fish, etc. Examples for the second: nearly Hentai-like ones, no examples here.

Silver Diamond is very subtle. except when chigusa says things like he wants to marry him or stay with him forever and hugs him. Haven't read the ending yet, but it does not turn into any yaoi-ish
Great story though, definitely something to buy/check out from library if possible

Actually, Silver Diamond is one of few mangas that I buy in English (although I have to get it from abroad and delivery costs are pretty high) despite having read scanlations (only 8 volumes).
And you can read some scans online if you search well 🙂
But it's definitely worth buying. The only bad thing about it is the fact that new volumes come out so rarely 🙁
