The MC is a college student who majors in design. He made a cute figurine as a project. Due to lack of money, he seeks out a roommate and bumps into his old high school friend who offers to let him stay at his place. MC is nervous because they had a falling out after they made out when they were friends. ML somehow convinces him to take the offer since it'd basically be free and his only other option would be to quit school cause he doesn't want to ask his parents for money. ML is pleased but tells MC not to go to the third floor. We later see that the ML has been stalking MC for a long time and seeks to get close to him again by presenting himself as 'just a friend'.
