hey everyone i am doing a survey on individual's perspective on life, i am just wondering how others see life...fun?sad?happy?exciting etc.
Also What is your purpose for life?hehe...friends asked me this question and i am still shocked how to give him an answer since those questions themselves changed his life dramatically letting him live it to the fullest with no worries.
What are your thoughts? 😀

I'm not really interested in the whole purpose of life thing since there's probably a lot of people who were considered smart waste their life like idiots.... trying to find the purpose of life only to find out that they spent their whole life on that question and dying without having an answer.
If I had to say something it's what Hagrid said near the end of the first Harry Potter movie (although the books are way better) - "What's comin' will come, an' we'll meet it when it does."

I see life as a continuous challenge and with each stage we go through, we learn something, be it "win or "lose". And my purpose in life is to simply live it, live it without regretting a thing.

A finite amount of time there for me to spend as I like, with the actual amount of time being an unknown.
Life = t1 x sleep + t2 x eat + ...
Death
= Σ (t x whatever) = 42
Birth

my view on life: life sucks, then you die.
as far as purpose, i think everyone should just do whatever makes them happy. life is short and who knows what happens after this, so just do what feels right to you, as long as you are able to live with the consequences.
I view life as the ultimate good. There is nothing greater or more beautiful than life and a living being.
Purpose of life... well, because I don't believe in an afterlife, this one gets a little tricky, but I've adopted a personal philosophy I can share. I've dedicated my life to accruing knowledge, as much as I possibly can. When I have gained enough so that I feel that I can effectively use it, I hope to do so in order to change the world in some small way and make it a better place for my having been here.

i see life as just the process of getting to the good moments in your life then letting those hold you off until you get to the next one, though i dont really know what my purpose is i hope that i can reach a point where i can get to a string of good points for a few years and live off those memories

"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." - John Lennon
So true.
I'm a bit apathetic to life, it just happens and your smack middle in it. If I were to die tomorrow, I wouldn't particularly care (well it's not something I'd want per-se, but what happens, happens), honestly I'd be more worried about the grief caused to relatives and close ones than about the actual death thing.
I don't view life as particularly beautiful, partly because I have nothing to compare it to, partly because it just "is".
Would be same as calling the sun beautiful... compared to what? That other sun we don't have?
The constant remarks about how special life is and how insignificantly small the chance is life could even exist, let alone in the form of "you", what's the point?
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I completely don't care... I just don't see the point of calling it beautiful.

Beauty isn't something that can only be established by comparison, but if I must justify my claim so, it isn't really so hard. The difference to me is simple; do I consider a valley flushed with life more beautiful than a valley barren of it? Yes. Do I consider a city busy with the activity of people, the ebb and flow of daily lives, more beautiful than an abandoned one? Yes. Therefore, it seems to me that life must be beautiful.

No need for justification, if you believe such, than it's probably true for you and are free to believe it (more like nobody else can judge it).
In my opinion an abandoned city can be just as beautiful, or even more beautiful than a full and active one (same with the valley).
It depends on the circumstances and your own state of mind at that moment.
Beauty is everywhere, it only depends on how you look at it. I don't call life beautiful, but that doesn't make it less special or void of any meaning.

i see life as the growth of organisms from a diffusion of two different cells to the time for where the organisms stop functioning...
sorry to destroy the sentimental value here..
This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.

Life:
Sad for some.
Happy for others.
Completely fulfilling to none.
An abomination alienating people from themselves.
Children are born to believe in a world that does not exist,
they mature to struggle and die regretting spending their
lives for something that has no value when they die.
People only have each other but can't deal with others.
Even the most successful human is a tragedy one way or another.
