Basically, the girl is the main character and she, for a reason I forgot, begins to visit a school club often and falls in love with the guy who leads the club.

It's slice of life and romance, and I remember a particular scene where some characters are boarding up either windows or a doorway and someone else comedically asks where they got the hammer and nails so suddenly. I'd like to revisit it, but can't remember what it was called.

It's not, but thank you for trying. I appreciate it.

I think I'm allowed to bump this now that enough time has gone by?

It might have been an anime when I saw it, so maybe it's not a manga. I wish I could remember more, but those details are the only ones I remember.

At one point characters start boarding up a room/outbuilding they're in and one of the other characters asks where they even found a hammer, nails and wooden boards.

It took a while for the main pairing to start dating, maybe the story even ended shortly after they became official.

Is it a Shoujo/Josei or Shounen/Seinen? With the plot you described it could be any demographic Shoujo/Seinen/Josei/Shounen.

The way you worded it I can't tell if the girl is the protagonist or this is from the perspective of a character watching her (in that case it would most likely be the love interest's POV).

If the POV is male then it is probably a Seinen/Shounen. If the POV is the girl then it is likely either Shoujo/Seinen

It's been a looooong time since I read it but the quintessential romance, slice of life manga about a club is Genshiken - The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture so there is that. Do you remember if they were in high school or college?

I do believe the main POV character was the girl, and it was in a high school setting.

It was a club with all guys (around 4-5, so not big), and the girl became a frequent visitor (the girl may or may not have been part of the student council... that's a possible red herring).

Do you remember how long ago you read it? Was it black&white? Do you remember the type of club?

It was either an anime or black and white (hard to tell since I get something like a movie in my head when I read anything, even just traditional books so it all kind of blends together). I know it wasn't a colour manga because before Webtoon became a thing I never read coloured stuff.

As for how long ago... more than 10, maybe around 15 years ago.

The club type was... I don't remember them doing any specific activity.

@Raiden94 I'll see if this one matches, thanks for finding it even if it turns out to be the wrong one.

Thanks for the recommendation, though it was extremely painful to read the first 20~ chapters so I ended up skipping to near the end. I don't know if that scene was in Ouran High School Host Club or not, but the gags of the manga did feel in-line with the scene.

Unfortunately that also means I can't say if that's the correct manga (or anime). Still, thanks for pointing this manga out to me, for what it was, it had a couple good points.
