It's amazing how our perception of a "decade" changes with age. When we're kids, and know other younger kids who's turned ten or so, we just think something like "oh, they're 10 now." And same goes for when we turn ~20. But thinking ahead, when decades means becoming 30 or 40, we don't like it so much any more and even kind of terrifying. I don't even dare guess what parents think when their kids turn 10...
