I've made little three-four pages comics before, haven't made a manga. Can't write in japanese.
You can say you translated it directly.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

Best poll topic in a while O_O
So far, I have a couple of strips I made when I was bored.
At the moment I'm drawing up a one shot just for drawing practice. I'm just winging the whole thing, no planning, no pre-scripting, I haven't even sketched the whole thing yet. I draw each page as I go. There's 11 pages so far.
I don't even have an exact idea on how it's going to end xD
It's just so that I can level up my skills a little more until I feel that I'm good enough to start on my main project 😃
Anyways, they're on my dA!

I havw awesome ideas 4 a story, it would be action, fantasy, romance, but i can't draw to save my life hangs down head in sadness, it would make a good manga too. 🤨
Everything has a price.
No.
I am a purist, so I don't
read any manga made by
people who aren't Japanese
or any manhwa that isn't Korean.
Thus, I won't even plan to make any.
To me, manga can only be made
by Japanese. No matter how it looks,
it is manga if it comes from Japan.
I don't count it as any specific
style with big eyes and weird hair.
I revere realistic styles, thus I don't like
it when people draw "manga" themselves.
Manga tends to belittle facial features
such as cheekbones and wrinkles and
I find them very important.

Making manga would take a lot of time. Might be fun but it seems like too much work for now.

I have, but not Manga... Comic is a better word for it... at least in my country... however, I can't draw for shit, so they are going to become novels (If I ever manage to write them till the end)
I was/am partially working on 3, but I would like to finish one (The plan was to turn it into a Mmorg RPG thingy so the universe setting is quite complex and big (3 Notebooks full of ideas/names/locations and crap) that gives me a lot of leverage to actually do anything with it)
The Main Characters (at the beginning aka 1 chappie) are a Vampire and a Werewolf that live in an alternate dimension and in a fight that involves a forbidden spell that fails they get thrown to earth.
The first Chapter involves murders (they need to feed and sadly they do land in a city) and the hardships of keeping a low profile while eating people and/or drinking their blood, meanwhile Police and Detectives ponder and wonder about the recent "strange" homicides.
(YES, THIS IS WHY I WAS ASKING FOR A MAP OF TOKYO WITH SUBWAYS AND EVERYTHING) (If you can provide me with an accurate one that would provide the spark that would set me on fire and willing to write again, so pretty please?)
Later on the thing becomes a little more like a shonen/seinen less detective stuff and more fighting, but still keeping things real, injuries don't heal overnight and tricks like poison and betrayal are OK, oh and The Vampire and the Werewolf are enemies so YEAH they are trying to kill each other -.-
I would say more and be more specific, but I just don't feel like it...
PS: If you look at my Avatar you would think that I am slyly biased... and I am... but not to the point of destroy my novel with Werewolf bias and propaganda.

I like writing.
I like drawing.
But not together.
I lose interest.

I might incorporate ideas I get from manga into my novels, but I'll leave the creation of manga to the professionals.

I think the only type of manga series I could do would be a hentai, yuri, or ecchi. Well, once I started getting back into drawing that is.
If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

I would love to make manga, I really do. I'm very good at storytelling, but I can't draw very well, unfortunately. 🙁
I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

well in america the term is generally "Graphic Novel" where comics which are owned by a company and worked on by many people or something along those lines.

I have good ideas (which are half-assed 2-chapter scripts that are mostly cliche) and can draw better than the very worst mangakas (which isn't saying much, but maybe their style just wasn't my preference), but I am either too lazy or feel like I will fail 🙂
Also, to make a manga, don't you half to have a manuscript and name and other time-wasting preparations that usually don't make it in the long run? I learned that from Bakuman 😀
