Well, Doc put a caveat onto the first post that said any stupid posts can get deleted; so....

True, but seeing as how these dumbass questions already received feedback, it would be pointless to delete them now.

I got a good question how much money will I actually save if I invent perpetual motion?

If you break the second law of thermodynamics? I'd imagine you'd have as much money as you wanted...

True.
actually Law of Thermo is the thing behind perpetual motion. What you need is lossless system of energy transfer. Say you have a spin wheel and it's in a real vacuum in a space with no gravity, no planets asteroid, rocks, all gears are lossless through the miracle of magic oil and then it will spin forever. 🤣

What's a good way to say proofread: She smiles better than I do.
Basically meaning the person smiles more often than the person speaking does.
In a short sentence, and without actually saying that person smiles more.

If she's a calm, pleasing girl: She is so amiable.
If she's that bubbly, genki girl: She's always cheery and pleasing.
I dunno... here are some synonyms:
enlivening
lively
merry
good-humored
agreeable
gracious
good-natured

If I'm reading your explanation correctly, you could try, "she smiles more easily than I do."

ForteAtrox specifically asked for "short sentence, and without actually saying that person smiles more." 🙂

Hi,
I have a question. I recently connected my Asus G50VT to my 24" Insignia TV via HDMI. The resolution is fine, but I am having problems with the sound. The TV keeps making a beeping sound when I have the sound on, though if I play anything else that uses sound I don't hear the beeping anymore.
Anyone have a solution to why the TV makes a beeping sound when I ain't using anything else that requires sound? If it helps I am using a nvidia geforce 9800M GS(with the latest driver) and the sound out is nvidia HDMI out

I just imported the bookmarks from my old laptop to my new laptop. In the old one, all the bookmarks had pics attached, but now the pics are not there. Is there anyay I can get the pics without going to every site 😕 I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

netj999:
Chances are this is actually coming from your TV, not your laptop. Check your owner's manual for options and see if you can manually shut the noise off.
Casey:
You'll need a program called CheckPlaces. In the program, there is an option called "Reload Favicons" and will actively search for the icons of that particular website. Great program, helps get rid of dead and duplicate links too.
There is a simple solution to every problem; finding the simple solution is the difficult problem.
