Random Questions "Attempt II"
Quote from Turbophoenix
Also I have a question: How many people here use libraries? I went to my local one yesterday for the first time in a while and it wasn't very good on the manga front. They had a decent selection, but most of it was just random volumes. I liked going though. I like the atmosphere of a library, and seeing all the books neatly lined up sedates my OCD. Sadly I think libraries are dying out.
I go to the library often because I need some quiet time when I do my homework (and it's really useful when I need some reference to some books). When I'm at home, I just can't concentrate. Plus, it's fairly close to my home, so might as well. However, I wouldn't exactly consider the library to go look for/borrow manga, the selection is pretty bad...

I sometimes find some great gems at the library and sometimes am totally out of luck, but I go all the times. I get access to two library systems and the libraries around here have great inter-loan and web request programs, so usually if I want a book I don't have much trouble getting it. The only trouble I have is with manga 'cause the volumes often aren't coded separately.

For those of you lovely MU-members suffering from eczema, what remedies and methods have you used that actually soothed the itchy & dryness?

Is anyone else feeling ill these days?
I feel really crappy, my throat hurts, my eyes are watery, I've got a runny nose, I'm sneezing all the time, and my coughing is starting to make me sound like a seal 🤢 .

Some body aches, watery eyes due to spectacles, sneezing due to sitting in an AC then moving into the scotching summer heat and back into cooler-chilled room, and no sneezing.
There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.
Does anyone know of the song used in the Civic commercial? The one with the furry, cute but scary looking female monster with two ladies? They're like shopping and driving around happily and stuff.

@binturong - I'm going to purchase this and try it out! Thanks for the suggestion!
@ Scyfon - Just regular moisturizer will do? I'm gonna try this! That moisturizer at home will be thoroughly put to use! 😎
@story645 - I've heard of this brand and have been wanting to try it! My friend has sensitive skin and suggested this as well.
@stubborn blob - I've actually tried many prescribed and non-prescribed corticosteroid topical ointments and although some of them soothed the itchiness, the rashes come back stronger than ever! D:
Anyways, thank you guys for the suggestions ^__^
I'll try my best to kick the crap outta eczema (for this season. It always wants to come back whenever the weather is bleh.)

What do you think of this video game concept??
You are an old man/woman, and mysteriously wake in a giant white room. By wandering around you discover it is actually a LABYRINTH. There is no food or water or bathrooms or beds, just white walls everywhere you go. Except... at some corners there are puzzles! If you get the puzzle right, you get one of your bodily necessities taken care of , if you dont then you have to wander around the maze until you find the next puzzle! Then, then.... since you are a geriatric person, although you try to remember the shape of the labyrinth, the fewer puzzles you solve, the less of the maze you remember! And... there is a darkly humorous woman's voice in the background that treats you like a lab rat! And there are also switches... some of which when pulled give you treats, and the others give you electric shocks! And the puzzles help you know which is the right switch!! If you get an electric shock you get put in a prison as punishment, where other contestants (this is multiplayer) are set as the wardens and are allowed to taze you whenever they want! Or something... and at the end of the maze there is no exit, just cake!!!

It sounds very unfulfilling, and lacks a hook...
Maybe you should start with a particular concept, rather than just creating something you could probably make in the sims.
Have you considered including your interests? Maybe a game about following people and seeing what they do in their spare time would be good... A game about stalking. You could disguise it as the missions of a private investigator...

I changed my mind, I rather watch old people run around a maze fighting for food and survival while being played with by scientists.

I prefer the game where you awaken in a room fool of sleepy sumo wrestlers. You wander around the rooms and discover wimpering ninjas, aliens, and an evil panda. Along the way you discover many puzzles that must be solved. If you play your cards right, you can save God from the endless rocking of a mechanical bull and be entertained by Scottish Kilt-Wearing Disco Monks.
