i used the same set of 10 images to create a gif image(actually, it's my current avatar), but the one i created with picasion works on MU, while the one created by gifninja doesn't.
why is that?
btw, my signature is created with gifninja.
another question: most online gif creators restrict the number of image to 10. is there a reason to that?

Just a little tip when animating eyes that you may find useful. The light reflecting in the eyes should not move with the pupils. Also as your eyes get closer to the light source your pupils should start to shrink to adjust to the light.
I know it's only a little gif animation but it doesn't hurt to learn something once in awhile. 🙂

MU has an avatar image dimension limit of 125x125. If it has to resize an animated GIF, then it'll lose the "animation" part of it. Are you sure that it's not doing that?

^i don't know...
that maybe the reason though.
i mean, picasion did resize the images to 125x125 before creating gif
while gifninja did not.

What is the avatar size limit on this site?
I looked around in all the FAQs, looked at quite a few of the stickied threads but... -__-;; I can't remember where that info was located. Edit: Oh, doh... it was 125 x something. 😛

Just curious, can banned MU members log into their MU accounts and still check for releases? Or are they banned from entering this site?
Not that I want to be banned, I'm one of the law abiding forumers. 😛

It's not too hard to create a GIF. You just import all the images as layers in GIMP and save as a GIF animation.

There's 2 kinds of ban: forum and site. Forum ban prevents you from posting anything. Site ban prevents the account from doing anything (even logging into the account will cause errors)

What are the "qualifications" for a site ban? And if you are site banned, is it permanent or temporary? (Like, in order to regain entrance, you must write an email of apology... etc) -- I feel like this is good for spammers...
As for forum bans... are those eventually lifted as well?
Not that I'm asking because I want to be banned...

A ban is a ban, I assume. If it was eventually lifted then it would just be a suspension. I don't know if MU has a suspension system, but other forums I've been on have had that, and bans on those sites are very rarely lifted.

I know that the forum works on a warning system with five levels. I don't know about the others but the first is a restriction to 8 posts an hour, which is lifted after six hours. Presumably the loss of privileges becomes progressively more severe with each warning, but I guess with the early levels it's only temporary. Perhaps the last level is a permanent ban.
