The last two forum levels are temporary and permanent forum bans. Only a few actual people have been forum banned (a lot of the banned members are actually spam bots). I don't recall an actual person being site banned, but I might have just forgotten.

You qualify for a ban if you piss us off enough. Depends on the situation

Eeks, remind me not to get on anyone's bad side. 🤢 😮 It shouldn't be though, I've been trying to be on my best behaviour and not be insane. 🤣

Btw, there was someone whose avatar included an animated sequence of young men with moustaches. Anyone know which drama those pictures were from?

Are you referring to this avatar? If you are then it's from a Mario Kart commercial.

It depends on the scan group. Some common ones that I can think of are Wild Words, Lafayette Comic Pro, Anime Ace, Letter O Matic, Manga Temple....

Yeah, you can google "Comic Fonts" or "Manga Fonts" and you'll get an array of fonts used in scanlations. (: Hope this helps!

Does anyone have a recipe for Japanese pickled eggs?

Yes, I have googled, and the ONE recipe I found lists ingredients & amounts for the pickling mix but doesn't say how many eggs for that amount of pickling mix. 😕

Yeah, most do, though I've also seen some that call for 12 or 24 eggs.

The thing is, though, it really doesn't look like much pickling stuff for six eggs - only about 9-10 Tbsp. (miso, sugar, & yogurt).

hmm then how about modifying it to fit?
half a cup of juice per 16-ounce jar is enough for 6 eggs
try to make more miso soup it might work
sorry for not being much help

It's not even soup, just those three things (miso, sugar, yogurt) mixed into a paste & then you "pour over eggs". 😐

I guess I could boil six eggs but start out just peeling 2-3 and see how much the miso paste really covers - don't really want to make a huge quantity as I've never tried these & don't know if they'll be good or not.

I found some recipes.
This is good for one egg but you can multiply the recipe.
And this one is a recipe to pickle 3 blocks of tofu and 3 eggs. You can change it to eggs only.

Thanks! I think I'll try both of those. 😃

Edit: why oh why did I never think to search "tamago" instead of "egg" 😕 ? 🙁
