Oh hey, you're right.
Well, that was simple. Thank you.
Alright, before school starts, I need your guys' help/opinions. O__O
So this year, I plan to try out for cross-country. The problem is, I've never tried it. I wanted to try a new sport this year, one that doesn't need much strength and speed (endurance and stamina is fine with me) so I decided to go with cross-country. So my question is, should I give it a shot even though I've never done cross-country at all? Or should I just condition myself for a year and then try out next year?
Help please, and thank you. (:

I say, go for it!! It'll give you experience for what trying out is like. If it doesn't work out, then you'll know how to prepare for it for next year!!! 🙂

I also say go for it! What can you lose? If you feel that stamina is not a problem for you then this should be an ideal sport to try for, also it'll help keep you fit and healthy ^^
Okay, I have two questions:
- This has been bugging me for quite some time, but really, how to you pronounce yaoi? It's bugging meee >:T
- On the information pages for series, it says whether it's a manga, mawhua ect. Well, does anyone know what an OEL is? I came across it on a page and I didn't know what it was/meant.

- I'm sure it's already been asked and answered, not sure where though, sorry.
You should search the forums. - Check the FAQ.
"OEL" stands for Original English Language. These are published series influenced by manga but originally written for an English audience.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

Type "やおい" here after selecting Japanese in the language section.

Not really a law but a movement i believe.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/press-release/2010-06-08/multi-national-manga-anti-piracy-coalition-formed
The manga coalition is a collective (of mainly japanese publishing companies) that are threatening to sue various hosting sites. While the topic is quite heated for debate, most websites like one manga that receive a cease and desist by the coalition would rather conform to it than to risk a legal venture to court. There are also various movements on the internet that are persuading the manga sites to just keel over if they are asked too.
Why? Because while legally, a person is allowed to take a licensed product and modify it (therefore turning it into an object they created as an expression of art) and distribute it, they are not allowed to profit from it. Manga websites profit (arguably) by selling adspace. Translation and photoshopping of the mangas does constitute as modifying the manga and therefore any scanlation group is allowed to distribute it, but they do not want to involve themselves in any form of legal action against publishing companies. The main reason (i found) for this is because if the publishing company ever wins a lawsuite of that nature, this case would stand true for almost all mangas, which would in turn make manga heavily monitored like music (arguably). Ultimately, most scanlation groups and most fans would rather have the manga world return underground (to the days before one manga and stuff) and to enjoy it in the shadows rather than have them hunted (like some terrible george orwell fiction)
My question is, is there a way to search multiple genres, and then categorize the manga by release date, or to modify the new release board to include only a specific genre? (sorry if this is a repeat question)

i think its because you can register on Animefreak.tv and both those websites are connected together so to register you go to animefreak and there is a link that takes you to manga reader.

Maybe a kind of reference to the main character of the Kinnikuman series, who has "niku" on his forehead.
