my math marks fluctuate... in gr9 i got like 70, gr10 i got 50%(my teacher was teaching us things that was supposed to be in the gr12 course) so i took a summer course got 95!( but that wasted my summer >:-( ) , then i dropped to ~60 in gr11, and in gr12 i got 80% cuz i was distracted and then fell asleep during my exam... ( they had those REALLY colourful motivation posters... got me dizzy >.<) i dont even know why i took math in academic/ university level.... shouldve taken applied/ college.

math is so boring i HATE it... i mean you dont even use the things they teach you. all you need to know is adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying.

As if handcuffed, I'm bound to the memories of you...

I don't like it enough to study it on my free time. I once did like it enough to consider math as my major in university. Kind of lost interest in the later part of high school for all studying.

So picked it is okay, since I do like it, just not enough to do it without prompting.

Depends.
Algebraic equations = not so bad
Pretty much everything else = hate

As long as I understand the problems and can solve them without much help, I don't mind math. If not, I hate it. XD

I asked my friend for help on my math homework and we were taking a while to try to figure out one problem.

This is a conversation between my roommate and I after the fact.

Me: "It doesn't work both ways. You ask me for English help and I don't get angry."
Friend: "I wasn't angry. I was just fustrated that it doesn't work."
Me: "And that is why we should all hate math."

OMG I hate maths O[]o and what's really strange it's that I'm really good at it -.- I have never revised anything in maths at home and I still managed to get an A in my GCSE...

I don't like the math we are studying, it's so boring 😔 I'd rather solving logic problems, not ones that need waay too many calculations. Geometry could also be fairly annoying with all these theorems and the like you need to remember.

Well, there's normal math, which is fine and I have no problems with and there's Calculus and Linear Algebra...

Up through high school I hated math with a passion; not so much in college (but I only had one semester of math in college). There was a lot I didn't really understand but learned the patterns & how to do it so I got good grades. Back in college 10 years later I still didn't like it but didn't hate it as much & again got through two semesters of Business Statistics & Survey of Calculus with good grades even though I didn't really understand it much.

Now I'm helping my kids through 8th grade math and I hate it with a passion again, even though I understand it more this time. 🤢

I love it. I love getting stuck and spend time solving it. I love when other people have trouble with it. 🤣

HS math was piss easy, college math was xxxtimes harder, but I still loved it.
