What's a mirrior? Like mirrior download. Is there a difference between that and the original download. Sorry if it was asked before =P.

a mirror means that the actual file is supposedly the same (it should be at least) however the url where that file is stored is different... like a file could be stored at:

www.a.com/file.exe
AND at
www.b.com/file.exe

this is a mirror download if file.exe is the same at both locations

Hmm, it seems someone locked this thread because the question was answered...but I'll add more info to it:

Mirrors exist so that 1 place doesn't have to handle all the burdens of serving the file. Otherwise, that 1 place would slow down immensely and we all would hate that. It's also proven that most people tend to click "Mirror 1" because it's first (the way the human mind works right there), so sometimes, you'll want to click the 2nd+ one since they could be faster.
