How did Ichigo beat kenpatchi and byakuya and a little while later they are stronger than him without any problems...
Did they train miraculously hard or where they just playing around at the first encounter.

yeah it doesnt seem to make much sense. they just got a random insane power boost without explanation. and telling ichigo that he isnt even worthy to assist a captain? he seemed to be fairing as well, if not better than the rest of the gotei 13.

well dont forget ichigo has been one of the most active fighters in the story, challenging stronger and stronger opponents.
he may get beat the first half of the fight but if he needs to he will find a way to win.

Nnoitra didnt kill ichigo, he just was winning at first. kenpachi then interupted and used his special 2 handed technique. keep in mind he never used it on ichigo. for all we know this could be as strong as 2 kenpachis.

ichigo defeated Byakuya, because of ichigos bankai.

Ichigo is not strong enough to defeat yammy. Yammy is the most powerful espada. ichigo had trouble defeating a few of the others he cant just defeat any body you know.
so in this case he needs help. this is where byakuya and kenpachi come in. of course ichigo has defeated byakuya and kenpachi alone. but together they make a team far from comparison from ichigos capability, + kenpachis two handed technique.

ichigo vs kenpachi= ichigo
ichigo vs byakuya = ichigo
ichigo vs yammy = yammy
ichigo vs byakuya and kenpachi= byakuya and kenpachi
thus making it totally necassary for

byakuya and kenpachi to take on yammy

What I don't get is that it wasn't a combined hit that took off yammy's leg, it was just Kenpachi. And yet, Ichigo w/mask barely cut yammy. That make's no sense to me. And Kenpachi barely beat Nnoitra without his eyepatch. Suddenly he kicks twice as much ass with it? Power difference between 5 and 0 is pretty fricken huge. Besides, even without ichigo's mask, he should be captain level. With it, he is way higher.

Biggest issue for me. Vasto Lordo = Capt level hollow.
Espada = Vasto Lordo Arrancar
Ichigo without Bankai > Kenpachi w/out Eye Patch(Remeber their first fight)
Ichigo w/Bankai > Byakuya
Ichigo w/Bankai + mask = Espada

How can the captains be completely wiping out some of these espada? No excuse. It's like normal Goku vs SSJ Vegeta and somehow winning. It just doesn't make sense.

well that would have to do with the anatomy of yammys body
his legs must ne weak compared to his neck

Dont forget that this isn't the ichigo we have seen before. his hollow mask has changed maybe that could be affecting his abilities.

Also you have no idea how byakuya and kenpachi has been training since soul society arc. maybe they just got that friggin stronger.

And also i think ichigo is emotionally unstable right now and unable to fight at his best towards yammy.

i dont think so

i think tite kubo has just gone super edgey with pushing the envelope.

i think he likes to make what you wont expect rather than boring us with whats typical and whats to be expected.

right now everyone is confused. but just like at the end of the soul society arc when all your questions where answered, at the end of this arc kubo will surely impress everyone bit by bit.

Though I think Kubo's fights are mostly just there for mindless violence and entertainment, I think there is a method to his madness.

When Ichigo fought Byakuya and Kenpachi he kinda took them by surprise.

1. By the time Kenpachi and Ichigo exchanged their final blows, Kenpachi had lost a lot of blood and Ichigo was tapped into the full strength of his shikai.

2. Nnoitra never really beat Ichigo, he just kicked him around (Tesla did the same and Kenpachi made short work of him), and Ichigo was already exhausted from fighting Grimmjow moments prior. Also Kenpachi used his uber two-handed technique, which he's never used on an opponent other than Yammamoto.

3. Byakuya, again, took serious damage when he was ambushed by Hollow Ichigo, and he really just kinda gave up. 😕

4. Yammy's a loud mouth, so who can really believe what he says? He took out an injured Chad and Renji, then Rukia (who isn't exactly the Mike Tyson of Shinigami). He's also misinformed, seeing as there's a strong possibility that Ulquiorra was the strongest among the Espada. What with him being the only Arrancar capable of Segunda.
