I'm hoping to start a new manga group with my friend, and we've got the editor, translator and proofreader jobs settled. This manga group is purely for the fun of it and to help people read manga from Japan (not everybody knows Japanese...). We're looking mainly for scanlators because we don't live in Japan and we have no idea how to get raw manga, but translators, editors, and proofreaders, are also welcomed. This is our first time doing this, so new recruits don't need any particular skills except that they wantto join and stick to the project. Of course we'll give you some time off if you are busy. Putting that aside, putting everything that I said already, we just need people to help.

Well, I'm not sure about raw chinese yet because like I said, I need scanlators, and I can't find any raw manga online. I bet that we will find some raw chinese manga, so stick around. Just leave your email or something and I'll contact you when I find someone. As for where I live, I live in the United States, in Florida 😃 . And that's why I can't just buy raw manga from Japan; I live nowhere near it. 😢 . If you know anyone that has raw manga, tell them to contact me at aminabubble@hotmail.com. I'm pretty active, so they should be able to reach me. Do you have any manga series you want to work on in mind? I don't have a set manga yet, so you can go to my forum or my site and post in the suggestions place. The URL for my site is http://angelicsparkle.t35.com. If you don't like the name for the group we can change it around, too. As for the genre of the manga, I don't think we should be doing just Shoujo, or just Shonen or something. Maybe a mix of genres? That way we can attract more visitors and more staff members.

Do you have it in a book or something? I can scan, but I don't know how to scan it in if you have it. Is it possible to put it onto the internet, or copy it and send it to me? Then I could scan it in. But first, what's the manga's name, and what is it about?

Um, do you have any ideas on how to send the manga over? Otherwise, I'll keep on searching for raw manga on the internet I can download. 🙂

Umm You can't actually "send" it over to another person without a scanner, well you can always mail the manga to another person...

If you want to, you can send it over. I'm trying to save up my money to buy a subscription to a japanese manga magazine, although it'll still be awhile until I can order it. 😃 Are you going to send the manga to my house? Or maybe to my dad's workplace (I know, my dad's workplace will be a completely random place to send it to)?

There are plenty of torrents for raw manga on sites like tokyotosho.com . What kinds of manga will you be translating? Like will it mainly be shoujo, or what? If you need an editor (English editor, I’m no good an image editing.) or a quality checker, shoot me an e-mail at will.catherwood@gmail.com , and I’ll see if I can help.

Mostly Shoujo I guess, but I can do other genres.

Hmm, not my first choice, but ahh, whatever. Tell you what, I'll round up a whole bunch of raws, and send them your way. Then, you decide if you want em, and if you do, I'll edit your translations. How about it?
