Frankenstein's eyes are blue while all of the other vampires' eyes are red. There are also other things that kind of implied that he's something different, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. What are your thoughts? =O

He's a modified human. A SELF modified human. The series up to this point has said that he's the basis for the organization's research into modifying humans, and before he met Rai he was performing experiments on humans freely to satisfy his own curiosity.
He is Frankenstein, both the Doctor and the monster. He's the culmination of the research to discover immortality and create the perfect human.
This signature was recovered from Hades to serve in my rotting armies.

That is a really fascinating idea! I could believe that
I remember that M23 (or is it M21? I forgot...The gray haired one!) once thought that Rai had made a contract with him after saving his life and awakening his powers and Frankenstein refuted that. Which made me think that maybe Frankenstein had made some sort of blood contract with Rai. (and Frankenstein was once human)
Just my thoughts though

all vampire have red eyes? well as far as it goes on the island it seems that not all vampire got red eyes...ex: the ones in the hospital, the ones guarding the forbiden place..
there is also the fact that Seira wasn't sure if both, frankenstein and rai, were noblesse...why would she thinks that if all vampire had red eyes?
in the flash back when Rai ask Frankenstein to seal his power, he called him master, so I do belive that is was not before knowing Rai that he was doing experiment but in a time when Rai was already his master...
of course i also think that he is modified, but in the story they tent to say that it is possible to enhance other being than human..so maybe he is human..maybe not..
but I don't think we can quite classified him now

Word.
However, I think that rather than modifying himself to the point of becoming the first (that we know of) and most complete modified human, he has rather become a artificial vampire.

You're right, he is a modified human. The original, most likely. That crazy Cromble(?) guy (the one doing all the experiments on M21 and the others) found Frankenstein's journal that he wrote, before he met Rai (I think). Cromble then used Frankie's journal and methods to modify himself, which was why he had similar powers to Frankie when they fought. Anyway, Frankenstein's century old research recorded in the journal was the basis for human modification. That's how I understood it. But Frankie is way superior to the human scientists, so they can't match him. 😃 That's why he is like a Noblesse himself.

seems like quite a sound theory. can't wait to read the reality in the series itself though 😉

I think that Frankenstein is a "mutant" (as they call it.) created by Rai. I think Rai drank his blood and transformed Frankie into a Noblesse. I think Frankie then tried to enhance his own power because he was curious about what he could do.

I think that Frankenstein created the dark spear by doing something like trapping souls in it.

mad scientist that experimented with himself and finally reached immortaly as well as superhuman powers (he still makes experiments as we can see in the chapters)

Awesome, finally people to discuss this series with!
I am pretty psyched that they linked Frankenstein to THE Dr. Frankenstein of lore regarding human stories, etc. with the mutants being 'The Monster' (likely).
