Liked the past story of Isshin. It seemed rush though....I mean what was the soul society response, didn't other shinigamis noticed him when they came to visit Ichigo, etc.

Let's hope we will get more answers when we learn about Masaki's death.

PS: Do you think Isshin's story about Maskai will be interrupted in the next chapter by some uninvited visitor?

I actually like where this is going... Very interesting chapters. But I'm wondering if Ichigo was the one who killed Masaki...

Funny. I was thinking the exact same thing after I read the chapter. I did go "naah" pretty soon afterwards, since it would cause another unnecessary emo-guiltrip that is really not needed as this point of the series, but who knows...

Wow, somehow this backstory is more interested that a lot of other arcs that I've read.
Ichigo killing his mother? Like sucking all her power out or something (out of fear)? It's a "what" not a "who" so i suppose it's an action or a creature that Isshin does not consider as human.

That would be pretty bad. His mom's death is the reason he doesn't smile at all... according to Tatsuki anyway. Learning that he actually killed his mom would cause something akin to suicide I would think.

I would actually be surprised if Kubo has Ichigo be the one who killed his mom. Which means it will not happen. 😮

I was thinking the same thing. If Ichigo did kill his mom then all hell is going to break loose! Maybe Aizen did have a hand in killing Ichigo's mother in some way...we shall wait and see.

Maybe Vandenreich were responsible for her death in some way.

I dont think the german nazis had anything to do with her death....the story they gave us before, that she protected ichigo from grand fisher was good enough. Now it'll probably just be an extension of that. Maybe grand fisher teamed up with other people and to beat this other people, masaki had to hollify. Thus isshin couldn't hold on and she permanantly became a hollow? In which isshin had no choice but to kill her? Sounds somewhat logical i guess but hopefully aizen had something to do with it.
