Anime Recomendations?

Hey all, I've kinda gone on an anime binge lately and can't get enough. I'm trying to find a series with a certain feel to it. Something that would fit in the comedy/adventure/romance genres. Something with good character development and a good plot, and good artwork. I'd really like to find something with a couple, where one partner is somewhat uncontrollable except when the other is involved. Like Inuyasha and Kagome, or Sasuke and Chidori... Andraia and Matrix(okay Reboot is not an anime, but I love it a lot..)
Something along the same lines, or the same feel as:
InuYasha
Full Metal Panic
Fushigi Yugi
Code-E (just finished this one, I really liked the strange ability aspect to this and that Kotaru wasn't afraid but really wanted to study it...)
Kaze No Stigma
Vision of Escawflowne
Karin (sort of, I just kinda really like this line near the end where the male lead says that the only one Karin can bite is him...)
I realize a lot of these don't have much in common... well they seem to do me, sort of. They all revolve around a group with a specific task or quest. and delve into the relationships that are formed. There's romance in all of them but for most of them the characters in questions don't realize it until the show is over... or don't truely admit it at all, like in InuYasha. That's the one thing I'd like to avoid, that I'm not sure is really possible, I'd like to find a series similar to these but one that doesn't draw out the tension so much... I'm not really sure such a series exsists.
Anyway, if anyone has any recomendations I would be greatly appreciate it. Here's a link to my anime list, to see what I've seen. http://myanimelist.net/animelist/dyingatmidnight
I think I have everything there... Thanks in advance!
Darker than Black, definitely~

Black Lagoon has some hints of the relationship with the characters, but it's really not the main focus though it's still an awesome anime.
Pumpkin scissors has another relationship thing going but it's not the main focus either and still a pretty decent one to watch.
Macross 7, oldie but good one. Definitely has the whole relationship going with one being uncontrollable (actually they're both kinda uncontrollable).
Just a few that I've seen with a wild side to the characters but I guess romance isn't the strong point to these. They're still good though in art, story and development.
Sorry if I don't get it right but I only have a vague idea of what your asking so...
Eureka Seven
Black Lagoon
Kekkaishi
Seirei no Moribito
Last Exile
Utawarerumono
Ergo Proxy
Spice and Wolf
Hero Tales - maybe...just maybe as I haven't gotten far yet
MAR - A very VERY typical shounen adventure story
Hmmm...not really sure but I have a feeling the new show by Gonzo called The Tower of Druaga seems to be the closest one to your description
P.S. most of these don't really have comedy in it....but still, give them a try
