Recently I played Utawarerumono on my PC and I really liked it. I like this kind of games with the turn-based battles. My only problem was that I had to go through a lot of sex scenes during plot narration (you know, the in-between battles scenes that advance the plot). Are there any other similar games (but without the sex scenes please?)

these are not pc games, but if you fine with it then
final fantasy tactics(ps1/psp) and disgaea(ps2/psp)

for non pc there's tactics ogre and ogre battle there for a number of systems. oh for pc there castle fantasia 2 but it does have sex scenes just i don't think there are as many and most of them are optional.

There are lots of choices for non-PC games. The Fire Emblem series, the Shining Force games if you don't mind older games. Though the Shining Force games and some of the older Fire Emblem game can be played on the PC with an emulator. I'd recommend going to [url]http://www.gamefaqs.com[/url] and looking under the strategy category and the turn-based sub-category for whatever game platyforms you have.

i highly recommend Tears to Tiara and Sengoku Rance.
in many ways its similar to utawarerumono. good story, sometimes visual novel with your usual choices an sometimes a turn based fighting on the field.

tho' sengoku rance has a little more than some sex scenes, but most of them are optional. you can just play it for the story. well mostly...anyways, no one minds a few sex scenes here and there^^ right?^^

Sengoku Rance has weak story, basically Rance (main hero) is a bastard and sickest pervert, his only desire to bang all pretty girls in JAPAN. He even abused his cute slave countless time, stripped her like it was nothing, totally an asshole.

If you are looking for good story this is not for you
