This has been on my mind for a while.

First, Manga magazines have their own characteristic, style, or 'color', and they tend to bundle manga with similar characteristics. So, I often use the magazine where the manga is published, or its imprint label, as the parameter to search for manga I want to read.

I noticed we have pages about mangaka and publisher, but not magazine. Advanced Search also doesn't provide a filter for magazines.

I think having such pages and search options (probably similar to the Categories Search) would be very helpful, especially nowadays when more and more specialized magazines appear: magazines/labels that specialize in adapting webnovels (Narou-kei), magazines that specialize in period drama, mahjong, moe, and so on. Many magazines also have their own website, in addition to the Twitter account of the editorial department, and sometimes an official YouTube channel and blog.

Searching by magazine would also allow us to see the differences of manga published in specific magazines over time (sorted by year). This would help people when discussing manga and magazines. Then, notes about the magazine (information; a magazine, web magazine, or an app; and probably their 'history') could also be written there. People asking about target audiences could also be directed here, which is useful especially because the target audience of a magazine and to whom a magazine is advertised is not as black and white as people think.

If there is such a page, I would volunteer to write such notes (including references as reliable as possible), although it would take time since I will only do it in my free time.

Second, I think manga covers uploaded in the manga page should be strictly the cover of the first volume (or the first chapter if there is no volume release). The cover of later volumes may contain spoilers that may ruin the experience of readers.

If the second suggestion is approved, I will change the cover when I encounter the cover of later volumes.

I agree, I think more features to search by magazine/label would be great for finding good stuff, since each magazine often ends up having its own sort of style even if they are in the same genre.
