Face to Face
I use a variation of the "it's not you, its me." And it comes off as more sincere if you do it face to face. ;p

I picked other because I don't have enough experience since I only had to do it once. I did it face to face and I said "I think we should just be friends." It wasn't a big deal because it wasn't anything serious.

I seem to have misread the title dumping to dumpling.

Err, anyways; I think I'm cowardly enough to break up by text messaging if it wasn't that serious. Otherwise; face-to-face, I'll just deny my heterosexuality. 😛

My last boyfriend I dated for 8 months so we had a heart to heart and I told him it was over for various reasons. But that was an exception. Usually I just ignore lads until they go away or if they're persistent to the point of irritating me I'll text/IM them tellinging them to get lost and stop bothering me. I get bored of guys very quickly so most of my relationships only last a month if their lucky so it's not like I feel any guilt in being so cold since it hardlys qualifies as a relationship.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

Well my relationships have always been a mutual break up situation where we both agreed that it was not working out. I would definitely want to use the face to face method if I wanted to break up with someone as I would hope that it was still a courteous situation.

now that i think about i have never experienced an healthy break-up. but with the last one it was something like* "lets be just friends again".*

well, my last break up happened a few months ago, we were together for 4 years and yet the guy had the nerve to treat me like a piece of junk! it was the time that I snapped and said to his face: good by and thanks for every thing!

I think he was the one who really wanted to finish this but was chicken and tried to avoid me instead of telling me what the heck was going on in his heart! hiding behind a wall like a coward and pretending he doesn't see me... to be honest, this hurt me more than this fact that he didn't like me any more.

I don't get scared and I don't like to finish things halfheartedly. so I will always tell them face to face about my feelings since I want a clean break up. yes, they will get angry at me, once some guy even tried to hit me, but at least we both knew there is no way we could go back to the past like this. and after that I could stand up again and start a new life.

See that's what I say! But everyone else around me is like: "yeah....I just stopped answering her phone call." I felt like B&6tch slapping the Sh%t out of him, but you know, it's his gf that he dumped so I wasn't really obligated to teach him manners.
