The ending doesnt seem like an ending
It was on raw so i just trusted the comments on the chapter )
Hotaru went missing
Persona and the young girl (who like mikan) ended up together an had a kid
Mikans memory returned

That is all i could understand but alot of ppl r saying theres more than tht chapter (they were asking for sequel series for hotaru)

Wait... what about Natsume 😕 Did he return?
If not did she end up with the other boy (blond whose name escapes me)

The series started with Mikan looking for Hotaru, now it ended with Mikan going on journey looking for Hotaru.
I'm not satisfied with this ending because it lack of closure for Mikan (and I hate the older version of Natsume, too old, =____=)
I hope there will be a sequel.

NAtsume and the other guys (narumi tsubasa blah blah) went out of the academy to look for mikan from her home town with her grandpa
And the one of mikan who has the alice of disguise was with her since she left the academy and disguise himsefl as a normal townspeople to prptect mikanChapter b4 the final chapter mikan was already in high school and she wa popular with the guys xD

To be honest the ending wasnt good for the span of "180 chapters", the old natsume is kinda too old looking too (not to mention ruka)

and also the hotaru thing, is one of the MANY plots that doesnt have a 'happy ending for mikan' i think she is planning another series for GA. But seriously, i just pushed myself into reading the last few arcs because i already started this series, it was hard to get through every chapters, too many angst and dark feelings, so i hope the mangaka will not make it into something similar to the 'elementary school president' arc

Personally, I think mikan and Natsume look the same age. Just found the raws, they both look ALOT older.

I think the guy with the goatee should be Tono,the guy with the brinjal-shaped Alice stone(lol).If not,I'm the same as you.I would hate it if it really is Natsume. 😔

I've seen the raw.. From what i understand is..

I think Mikan and Natsume, along with Luca, Sakurano, Hayate and Noda will go looking for Imai siblings. This is only my perception by having seen the raw and from my very basic Chinese.

My only question is will there be a sequel?? I need reassurance that there will be a sequel for that kind of ending, well it's more of a cliff-hanger don't you think?? Beside, I want to see Mikan and Natsume in a normal relationship without any danger lurking around them. They finally got together, and I'd want to see more of them being happy while searching for Imai siblings.

From Baka-Updates, the status in country of origin said that it is still ongoing, I do hope it really is because I do need closure regarding the Imai siblings!! But from the raw scans of the manga, from chapter 179 that just last 3 chapters remaining :'((( I love the last chapter wherein Natsume and Mikan ended up together and all but since the series did start with Mikan looking for Hotaru, I had hoped for a more definite ending about this T_T

I do hope they create a season 2 for the anime but with a different ending for the Imai siblings

Basically,

Natsume's life is extended a LITTLE (he doesn't live long...) and that Mikan and Natsume get married, but she didn't think far enough to their future whether or not they'd have children.
As for Nobara...she and Persona have a child, but Nobara passes away.
And, Hotaru and her brother are stuck in the past but get are reunited once with Mikan and friends. However, the meeting is short and they must return to the past.

I'm so upset...this manga made me cry so much more than any other series. More than the classic tragedies like Elfen Lied and the like. I love it, I just wish Tachibana-sensei would let her characters have happier endings...

MAN! I spent years on this manga wishing... long... hoping.. for Ruka and Hotaru to get together... (Mikan x Natsume was obvious).... why.... TT^TT

I just reread the last few chapters of Gakuen Alice, and I realize it's still kind of a love triangle? I'm talking about the ending scene where the 3 of them jump holding hands. I got a feeling that the author still want to give hopes for Ruka. Anyway it'll be good if there's a sequel to it.
