Ridiculous . Worst pairings ever. I am pretty sure the publisher forced Kishimoto to do it this way than what he originally intended as shown throughout the manga because of fan demands. The ones that don't make sense at all are Choji pairing and Sai x Ino pairing. Sakura still ending up with Sasuke seems ridiculous after he tried to kill her so many times. Basically he ruined almost every character except Shikamaru and Temari. Shame on you Kishimoto

I am glad it finally ended, and that naruto actually became a hokage. by the way, did kiba just said that sasuke became a hokage before naruto..? I'm a bit sad at how simplified peace is at the ending, but the fact that it reached a conclusion makes up for it. please, no naruto Z!

No Sasuke did not become Hokage. Eventhough he is now good no way the rest of the village and the allied nations will accept him as hokage because of his history. Naruto succeeded Kakashi and was called the seventh and there were only seven hokage faces on the mountain last two being Kakashi and Naruto.

Its overall a nice and happy end but not as satisfying as Kishimoto did not follow through with his developments till the end of the manga. He pulled of a complete surprises in the last two chapters.

After this, Naruhina doujins will go up exponentially!.

Yeah I already noticed. I got a little suspicious when mangastream took their time releasing chapter 700 and the pairing seems a little unexpected..

Yeah...Naruto became Hokage...it was given, as it was the main theme from the beginning and last fight with Sasuke was 'bout...
It's Kakashi who became the Sixth...well it was predictable enough as well...

What Kiba actually meant is - He is a great ninja...as a great hawk always hides it's Claws, a great Ninja do so too by hiding his fangs and moves in shadow...so, He tried to claim that, he is a great ninja and so he is hiding it's fangs...and not taking the seat of Seventh for himself, what he could take it easily if he wanted...

699 is amazing. The writing was better then it has been in years. Boom you pregnant Sakura ! 700 is good but a teaser as of now. The parings make sense and so do the "final" fates of the leads. Choji´s wife thou came out of the left field. Kiba married cat girl and that is funny. She is a real character 😲 and i looked her up. I would have liked twice the pages to see more interaction and more resolution but we still have a movie to leak 🤣 and the mini series. Let the child-shipping beginn. I would pay money to be in the crowd to see Naruto and Hinata kiss in the movie. It will get a huge reaction for shure. Has there ever been a crazies internet ship then these two outside of Harry Potter ? I will write up a popper review soon(a fair 7,5/10 overall but stil great for SJ). I have been reading for 13(!!!) years after all. And hot damn do some of the guys have great beards now. Kiba and Sasuke look just amazing. Naruto's daughter is the best kid design. The the last page is a nice callback to page 1.

Chapter 700 is so bad, I'm still in denial that it's some shitty fanfiction. I'm usually ok with time skip ending, but most part of it made no sense. It's like the sole purpose of chapter was to show final pairings without some real plot conclusion.

I can see why so many people are comparing the epilogue chapter to a fanfiction. Bizarrely, everyone and their grandmother got a pairing. It was immature of Kishimoto to "pair the spares," but I wasn't as bothered by that as other people. What disappointed me was how ultimately superficial the epilogue was. It simply didn't bring the manga to a satisfying thematic conclusion. We got pairings, but no strong culminating statement about Naruto's journey.

Naruto had a lot of things he wanted to accomplish: peace, unifying the shinobi world, gaining people's friendship and acknowledgement, etc., etc. The epilogue addressed some of those things, but only in a very secondary, tangential way. We know there's peace because Tenten isn't selling her weapons and the former Hokages still like to meet up for nostalgia. But the takeaway from the last chapter wasn't that so much as it was pairings and babies.

In my opinion, the themes shouldn't have been tangential at all. The final page talking about Naruto and Kurama wasn't enough. The epilogue should have been a celebration of Naruto accomplishing his goals and fulfilling his promise as the ninja fated to unify the shinobi world. (Don't imply it, show it!) Isn't that what one would expect from a chapter titled "Uzumaki Naruto"? Naruto seemed so ordinary in this chapter. Just another Hokage, not a prophesied Hokage.

So much wasted time on things that didn't matter, like a subplot with Ino-Shika-Cho's kids not wanting to learn their team jutsu. Those pages could have been put to far better use--like maybe giving Team 7 a final scene together where they were happy as adults! Where was that scene?

And hell, if the final chapter had to be all about pairings, why not show Naruto and Sasuke together with their spouses? Everyone else was shown with their husbands/wives, but not the two of them. Not only weren't Naruto and Sasuke drawn with their wives, but apparently the two of them spend a lot of time away from home. (Probably with each other... [<--Yaoi fans, that was for you! 😛 ]) It gave the final pairings a superficial feeling, as someone else said, like Kishimoto didn't believe in them. So Kishimoto is going to push the job of developing his main couples onto the people doing the movie/writing the novels?

[And my god... Sasuke x Sakura. After he tried to kill her twice and trapped her in a genjutsu where she was forced to relive getting stabbed through the chest over and over. Don't you know women will put up with anything if it's for looove? What's mind-rape, torture, and attempted murder? To add insult to injury, she's a housewife now, not a medical ninja. Kishimoto's sexism = Fact. Additionally, since all of Sakura's character flaws stemmed from her chasing a boy, the best ending for her would have been if she'd stayed single. It would have shown that she'd moved past all that. Kishimoto just validated all her shitty behavior by giving her Sasuke.]

I can also understand why some are calling it as fan-fiction. The last chapter was written in a way that was was so cliche. Like how the kids look EXACTLY the same as their parents with some even being an amalgamation of the two lol. I mean the entire thing was so on the nose that it was like the author was literally whacking our heard and screaming at us while explaining the pairings or character relations.

Although would have been better to end it with Naruto talking to Iruka at the end. After all it was Iruka who actually gave him the first push to become the dude he is now. Anyhow... it's finally ended!

I seriously dont understand why there wasnt any update on hawk and orichimaru... 😔
