I think it's meant to end on the 700th Chapter, and I've certainly seen colour RAWs of them as adults with kids, so there's one more chapter to go I believe.

Two chapters were released I think, 699 and 700.

Thoughts on the end? I think there were not much surprises on the ending but it was a good end I suppose, wraps things up nicely. And why was there a straw hat logo at the end?

The end wasn't so bad but how it lead to the hand was honestly really anti-climatic, all the way from Madara and Kaguya to the fateful fight between Naruto and Sasuke, the fight everyone wanted and waited for. In mere 2 chapters the fight that everyone kept on reading Naruto for ended just like that, even with the foreshadowing of "if we fight one of us will die" it ended like that. I just feel really disappointed to be honest, the end was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. Though what I wan't to know now is how Chouji ended up with Karui, seemed random. But is Kishimoto seriously just going to ignore Orochimaru, team Hawk/Hebi and co? Yay, war is over let us ignore these obviously extremely dangerous individuals.

Even though I knew it was inevitable, the sasuke/sakura ending pisses me off. Such a ridiculous pairing. A childhood crush culminating in betrayal, followed by multiple attempts to kill her and her friends, but she's just so in love!!

The characters were so OOC in the end. So many plot holes never closed or concluded. Naruto never got his resolution for his feelings. Sasuke magically starts to love Sakura after 5 years? All the kids are designed terribly.

Naruto? The guy who was the most neglected boy of the village? Neglects his son so his son acts out for attention?? Naruto, putting the village above his son?

There was no point to this manga.

If we ignore the pairings, the ending was ok. Yeah a bit anti-climatic but eh. I'm satisfied. It was always going to be difficult to end so good after such a long time.

The pairings though, I mean, some of them just came out of nowhere. I know Kishi's said that he's always had the ending planned in his head, but idk man it looks like he just slapped people together. NaruHina is cute as fuck. I would have liked to have actually, y'know, seen them together. I know romance isn't a fundamental part of this manga, if at all, and actual props to Kishi for making things canon and not just shoving it under the rug and leaving it all open. But at the same time, they kinda feel a bit shallow. But I guess you can't squeeze it all in can you. Maybe he'll delve into that in his spin off with the kids lol. How their parents got together or something I don't know. Haha won't that be a story to tell for Sakura -

I think everyone going crazy over the canon ships has taken away the story a bit for the final chapter though, so that's probably why I feel like it's a bit shallow. Idk.

Ending is ok but the pairings are bad. The pairings are like a bad fanfiction like someone said earlier. Few pairs don't even make sense like Sai x Ino, and Chouji and the girl from hidden cloud. Can't tell who Kiba is paired up with but his seems normal and and it seems Lee is paired up with someone as it seems like he has a son. Shikimaru is expected and originally intended pairing from what was shown in a significant portion of the manga. Its quite clear Kishimoto has given into some fans demands reading the last chapter but at least he dragged it out till the end instead of ruining it in between like most writers do but he could of put a little more effort and not give in to fans as it was very close to ending very nicely. I have a feeling the Kishimoto originally intended to pair Karin and Sasuke but changed the very last minute as his daughter looks a lot like Karin than Sakura.

That chapter feels like fanfiction to me too. I just feel like that chapter doesn't belong there :/ Chapter 699 seems like a more plausible ending for Kishimoto. The art for chapter 700 is horrid too.

Or it could be he was forced to do it by the publisher because of fan demands but if chapter 700 is a fake then it might be one of the biggest internet pranks in history.

It was neat and all. Though, the fact that Sasuke didn't die and Sakura still loved him baffled me to no end. He tried to kill her on multiple occasions.
