Okay. I honestly hated that ending. It was so very disappointing. I loved the entire series and the finale just killed it.

I read the first page of the last chapter, and what's this? she decides to marry both of them? WTF? T__T
After the sappy letter that Shizu left her, she marries Taka, and everyone else finds love? D: (superficial to the max)
and then Shizu comes back and it's like the love triangle was never resolved.

This made me cry... on the inside :/

I think it would have had a better ending if

1. They continued to antagonize Shizu
2. Someone's love didn't work out
3. There was a failure with the operation

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against happy endings, this one was just... too happy.

series died when they started making the bad guy a victim and everyone's character just up and changed. Was pretty impressed with this ending though, not even ecchi shounens try to do that type of ending.

After I finished reading the ending...
I kind of kind of died on the inside. Didn't like it. D:
But, it was okay somewhat. >_>;

Quote from cano435

series died when they started making the bad guy a victim

I agree, they should've kept him as an antagonist, perhaps to kill off in the end >__>

Man, it wasn't just sugarcoated.
They like, took pure sugar cream and pumped it into the ending.

SRSLY.

WAY TOO UNREALISTIC?

What made it worth it, I think, despite Haine's ever decreasing logic, was Takanari's words at the end.
That was the best - because from that you figured who was going to win and what was going to continue being a "joke."

Well, it was definitely a typical Tanemura ending (pretty much all her works had sugar-coated finales). It was alright all the same though.

mmm i didn't like that ending at all... It does hint at the end that Haine loves Taka the most because it's him that grabs her at the end... but I didn't like the whole idea of her wanting to marry both of them. I mean seriously... BOTH of them.... I was really disappointed.. I expected so much more from Tanemura. Her endings are usually so much more.. beautiful and not straight out stupid.

yuh,i have to say the final just killed it for me!i mean thats the point of a love triangle for a girl to choose someone, not marry both persons.anyways i think the author could have came up with a better soultion.like letting haine and takanari be together and killing off shizumasa.i mean seriousley she cant marry both, thats kinda gross marrying two ppl,let aloen 2 brothers.i was disappointed ,but oh well...a great story line thou!

I wasn't expecting a good ending considering it was an Arina Tenemura work but then looking back at Kamikaze Katio Jeanne I was like, ok maybe not. I knew what was coming and I wanted it so badly not to be true but it did.
Typical:

Haine gets married to Tanakari, but no she wants both guys. Shizumasa refuses the proposal and now turns to be a good person and the victim. Everyone else just want to follow Haine and Tana. Toya is suddenly the good innocent butler and Haine's parents are having another kid.

They sugarcoated too much that it was way too sweet for my liking. Haine, omg, I wanna smack her when she said she wanted the both of them. 😐
It was ok but could have been better, didn't really satisfy me.

I'm really sorry to Tanemura-san, but her ending for SDC really sucked. For many readers, the anticipation of her choosing either Takanari or Shizumasa really drew a person in and now Haine marries both?! Seriously, WTF. And suddenly other romances like Touya and Riiko get solved?

I'm usually a stickler for happy endings and the SDC was happy, but not my type of happy. Shizumasa was antogonized throughout much of the series and to suddenly put him in the spotlight of the protagonist side kinda ruins the picture. It would have been nice if he continued to be an antagonist or something went wrong with his operation.

Not to mention another kid?! HONESTLY. Ughhh that ending was quesy. The HaineShizuTaka love triangle was never really resolved either. 😐

It would have be a really crap ending if Haine did married both of them I would go crazy all day long but it was okay ending 🤣

LOL, everyone basically has the same view about the SDC ending.

Sure, it was a dissapointment. But what did you expect from Arina Tanemura? All of her work's endings are always super happy-no is sad, and everyone has a lover. 🤣

It was a good story to have read, and Arina's work has improved. Now she just needs to work on the endings a bit more....a lot more. xD
