I've just read about two chapters of this story and I'm a tad confused.
Takao is an Oiran and I thought Tsubaki was one too but then Takao suddenly says ''Tsubaki, call the other GEISHA to come here''.

Got me thinking, is Tsubaki a Geisha and Takao an Oiran? Or how does it all work?

And also, if Tsubaki is an Oiran, wouldn't becoming the best imply that she'd have to indulge herself in the wonders of prostitution?
