I wanna recommend some mangas for my girlfriend to enjoy. But I don't know what. Well she like Korean and Japanese dramas so maybe she'll like Romance mangas as well. I told her to read Crazy Coffee Cat and she liked it, but it still has few chapters out. Maybe if she reads something worthwhile and interesting, she'll develop her like for manga. Maybe a good first chapter will really help. Hoping for your recommendations. Thanks smile

Nana the best shoujo manga I've ever read. I'm a guy and I still loved it.

I'd say give her something that is short(so she won't become irritated with a long endless plot), completed(so she won't have to wait for chapters), and memorable.

Completed:
Shuukatsu!! - Kimi ni Naitei
Yuru Koi
Fruits Basket -- rather long, but my first intentional manga read...
Ai Hime - Ai to Himegoto
Hanatsukihime -- fantasy, different setting... it was nice!!
Houkago Hokenshitsu -- unique, a bit gory, psychological drama (in case she wants something different)
Kimi wa Petto
Honey and Clover -- this has a movie adaptation, J-drama adaptation and anime. (I watched the anime, and I absolutely loved it...) Recommended for anyone who graduated college or is in college...

On-going series:
Kurobara Alice
Suki-tte Ii na yo
Kuragehime -- has an anime out (incomplete ending... unsure if there'll be a 2nd season)
Hapi Mari -- errrr... not sure if she's okay with smut... X)
Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Si-Do
Seisei Suruhodo, Aishiteru -- seriously like an American primetime drama... scandalous and good!

As she just started u need something to leave a profound impression on her, not something with only drama... and u must let her finish a story, dont let her read stuff without an end that piss off most people, try something shoujoist but with some action and love, something like Ayashi no ceres
