i want to know is tobi really obito kakashi old friend. My friend said it was him because he wears that mask which only have one eye hole for his right eye and not his left because kakashi has it. Can anyone prove that this it ture

Tobi is Madara, but he's probly using Obito's body cuz the nine tailed fox killed him after he summoned it and he needed to find the body of a dead guy who had the power to use Sharingan. Thats just my guess.

i don't think Madara is using Obito's body cuz obito die before the nine tails even attacked the village, but good guess

The hole in Tobis mask is on the left and obito has his left sharringan not his right.Also the Obits hair is like tobi's hair.Also some other things im to lazy to type them all.

your guesses are all fine and good but...

Assuming that Tobi is Obito would also require that someone saved Obito back in the Kakashi part of the series, which, i don't think the fourth would had lied about, and it was before the attack on the village, so its not like Madara needed it yet, so that puts another hole in it.
i think that its just Madara, i mean, theory's are all fine and good, but when it gets down to it, is it really that much of a stretch that it is Uchiha Madara?
We have seen weirder things than that, before.

I think the key to what happened to Obito lies with Rin,... maybe. >.< I mean, I want to know what happened to her. D: She probably died, but still... I want to know how. xP

danzou might have saved obito for madara and that would explain no one knowing that obito survived.

jloman said it best and im surprised no one noticed before, but if it were to be obito, madara would have had to posses his body long before his 2nd attack on konoha, meaning that his obito body was defeated by the 4th... im assuming that means killed so he would have had to switch bodies then too meaning there is no way this current madara is obito.

i still think madara is danzou

That's implied when Kakashi said "All the people I cared about are dead". Of course, that's hardly a firm confirmation, so no one knows for sure. And there's always the chance Kakashi was speaking figuratively as well.

Also, I'm gonna go ahead and say Tobi = Obito. I would guess his body was scooped up and repaired by someone else. Probably Zetsu. Only later would Madara figure in.

If Tobi=Obito (Madara using Obito´s body), i don´t think the "he is Obito because he has a sharingan in one eye (oposite to Kakashi´s)" is a valid proof, i doubt they can repair the more than half part of the body damaged (crushed), and i doubt the remaining eye would still be usable after being crushed by the rock. Unless Madara has a jutsu that by transplanting one of his eyes he can posses and regenerate a dead body, i don´t think Tobi is Obito. Obito is dead, Tobi is Madara (even if it´s Obito´s body, it´s Madara controlling it).
