Wizard Scans

Hey all! I am one of the owners of the new Scanlation Group called Wizard Scans, A.K.A Wiz-Scans.

We currently have found, and are waiting for, the releases of knew Un-Scanlated Mangas. Currently though, we are put on hold. Since we are a newer group, we need a staff. Positions open are listed below along with the descriptions.

Scanner/ RAW Provider – A person who obtains RAW Manga (often scan) through any methods they can use to get it, usually by searching online or by some other way.

Requirement(s): Has access to RAW Manga and/ or is able to scan Manga on to the computer.

Translator -The person who translates the raw Manga from the foreign language into the desired language. (In this case RAW to English.)

Requirement(s): Has the capability of translating the RAW language into English.

Cleaner/ Redrawer - Their job is to clean the bubble with foreign language into blank bubbles so the Typesetter can type the translation in. Also, the Redrawer must have the same Requirement(s) listed below and they must be able to format the Manga pages to the way we want them. (Redrawer is not mandatory right now but one would indeed be helpful.)

Requirement(s): Has access to Photoshop or some similar program.

Typesetter -.Their job is type the translate language into the blank bubble of the Manga. Basically, if the Translator just comes up with a rough draft for the Proofreader, the Typesetter will put the final copy into the bubbles once the Proofreader has finalized their version.

Requirement(s): Some type of skill or capability of putting the words into the bubbles and onto unbubbled areas as they were in RAW form. Also to make them look good and smoothe when placed.

Also, don't forget that this opportunity is to join a Non-Profit Group, so don't expect to be paid. Expect to have fun and do what is necessary so we can accomplish our releases.

Currently we are doing Shounen (Tenshi to Akuto!!) But we do kind of all genres nothing specific. ^-^
