Where I live, school starts on the 12th of August, which means only two weeks of summer break left. I'm going to be a senior in high school (woohoo!!), and I'm pretty excited for it... but I'm not quite ready yet, 'cause I have to read two books for AP Lit: How to Read Literature Like a Professor and Invisible Man. Both, I heard, are pretty boring... :/

Are you ready for school to start up again?? I know in some states, school starts in September. Ugh, lucky... but starting now for us means we get to end school a month earlier, which is cool... Hmm... so what did you do this summer?? Are you still going to do something before school starts up again?? What grade/year are you going to be in?? Do tell!! :]

i did nothing but get stupider this summer. No, im not ready to start school, i only have a month left(school starts 25th of august, yay for budget cuts!) or so. Same here, I'm also going to be a junior, I get back to school after Labor Day, so another month for me. I got stupider over the summer, so if I get Calculus in my first semester, I will fail miserably, plus I also have AP World History and AP Statistics. Gonna be soooo stressful.

I start on the 26th. >: I am actually excited this time around. :3 I was able to more or less plan out my semester this summer and it looks to be okay. I'll be a college sophomore now, hehehe. >'D And yup, I am definitely ready, I was able to get in many hours last year which has lessened my class schedule for this semester, not that I'll be slacking off... but the lightened schedule is much appreciated. XD

I didn't do much this summer, unfortunately. XD I just worked and lazed around. ___

Went to the summer semester, so I cant say I had off this summer.

Not really looking forward to classes this fall, it seems too much trouble.

I enroll on the 6th September and start a week later.

That's if I get the grades of course. I could just end up not going to Uni at all and finding some other job instead...
My holidays so far have consisted of sleeping, pub, computer, pub, eating junk food, pub and a little bit more computer. More pub, computer and sleeping to come in the next month, as well as a few days work for the job.
What an eventful life I lead. Drinking, computer and sleeping. Enjoy while it lasts I guess 🤣

Taking Honors Brit Lit so I have to read Wuthering Heights and I haven't even started yet. But things have a way off working themselves out so I'll just take these next two weeks real slow like and relax 😎

It's not really school, per say but rather University. It begins September 9th. I still got some time too prepare, although the prospect of the Uni's standard of higher educational level seems very demoralising. Since I'll be a new student and all. Its going to be tough.

University will be the best times of your life. New freedoms, but just don't go off and do anything too stupid and utterly life changing like getting 40 piercings and 50 tattoos. University is that step into adulthood that says, this is the world, what can I do to enjoy it? After university is when bills start to stack, jobs start to suck your soul away, and you begin to pay attention to boring things like world economics and job market because...you're getting old.

High school = bunch of babies who think they are adults but still get guided around by parents and teachers
University = true adulthood where one makes their own decisions and carve their own destiny. Will this destiny be filled with hardship and diligent study or will it be shattered and slain by alcohol and partying. Only you can decide!

For me, I'm done University. Only thing I have to look forward to is the boring life of the working class

no. I had to take extra courses so I could get in ib chem and an ib math. I don't want anymore school in my life =_=
argh-I only have excatly one month of "vacation"
and my "vacation" only means to be forced to study and whatnot after I finish my extra my courses

Yup me too! Though I graduated 2 years ago and went back again last year. Haha. But I'm still taking summer school now and will only have a week off before the new year 😐

I'm going to be a sophomore this year.

My school starts August 16th.

Not quite ready for school to start back up yet, mostly because I have yet to order my textbooks (since the prices make it incredibly painful lol). My summer has been relatively uneventful; mostly work, computer, sleep...I'm going into my fourth year of university; I would be graduating this year if I hadn't transferred schools. I believe my classes start August 23rd (should probably check that out 😛 )
