Fairly simple request, I'm looking for stories in which a major character (preferably a heroine) at some point has or develops a crush on someone who is a jerk or a serious bastard. For instance, at the start of Guyver Mizuki has a huge crush on Agihito, the student council president who's very quickly shown by internal monologues to be a Machiavellian schemer who cares little about anyone or anything outside of how they can help or hinder him in his plans, to the point of considering using Mizuki to get to the hero Sho for his newly-acquired powers. Please note that I said crushing on, not dating. I'm not looking for something where a girl gets into a long-term toxic relationship; I'd honestly prefer stuff where the character gets out before entering a relationship or fairly soon afterward.
