On the vast Internet spaces there exist the epic struggle for supremacy of Cute versus Strange diversions. So I ask, to end the battle for evermore, which do you prefer?

Personally, I prefer the strange. Cute is certainly good, but once you have seen a few fluffy kitties, puppies and duckies you have certainly seen them all, ne? Whereas the strange contains infinite variety and gloriousness.

He sure looks nice, with his cute smile, ne?
But what lies in wait is really a silent killer! The nose is designed by thousands of years of evolution to poke just above the surface of the water while the rest sits like a rock, and sensitive enough to spot the slightest vibration of prey. When noticed, the turtle has only to open his mouth and suck in the unsuspecting victim. (mata mata means "I kill, I kill" in Spanish)

Yeah I agree, the strangeness seems much cooler than the cuteness now. My personal favorite is the flying fish, but the walking catfish are pretty wicked. Go mother nature!!!!

It really depends on my mood. Sometimes I just need cute and fluffy and sometimes I just want to laugh at how odd things are. I don't think I could ever decide between the two (at least not a decision that would remain unchanged over the course of a single day)

I don't like really strange things, because it makes me think of coming in contact with them, and they make me question my view that the world is some-what normal. Not to mention, they simply scare me and creepy me out.
