I'd have to agree with tetris. Think about it, what game has been re-released, recreated, redistributed and is easily the most recognizable game ever? The gameplay attracts anyone and everyone, and everyone who has access to electronics has at some point played tetris. I doubt everyone has played FFVII

favourite game.
I must say my favourite is either Populous The Beginning, Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2 or some other Bullfrog creation, except Magic CRAPet.
What comes to Tetris, it is an economical succes.

Earthbound....OH SNAP, I went old school didnt I? Its for SNES and its still a game you can play just from story line and humor alone, so id go with that.

I still prefer many other titles over Earthbound,
