Web 2.0 may be sometimes the greatest invention after Web 1.0 and the wheel. But I really hate it to stumble over spoilers in this free web. Several minutes ago I found out who the fuck Tobi from Naruto is. I just destroyed the curiosity for this manga a little more. I really hate it. The same with cinema trailers. You can see the best scenes before the movie is even in the theatre. Beside that, please post here your deepest disappointments in beeing spoiled by friends or the internet about anime or manga. But please in

these areas only don't wanna cause even more disappointments.

soo umm how did u find out who tobi is 😕 im pretty sure the chapter for this week isnt out yet and i highly doubt anyone besides the mangaka knows....

Cowboy bebop rocks 😛 Also I don't really get spoiled from the net cause I immediately stop reading if I notice it's a spoiler and also if it's something i've never read or seen before i'll forget it probably or not even notice it so spoilers don't bother me. As for trailers I don't watch trailers as I don't watch commercials I download all my shows and the ones I watch on tv I never watch during the commercials or they usually out in local commercials so it's spoiler free. Also I don't watch too many american movies. No originality left. Everything is either a remake of an old movie or a story that's been done just with a different set of actors also too cliche. I do watch classic movies like the Godfather and Casablanca and I actually sat one day and watched Gone with the wind through for 6 hours. Imitation of life as well and tons of other classics like Jimmy Stewart and Anthony Quinn. Also I liked one movie with Keanu Reeves called a Walk in the Clouds and Sweet November but that's cause I saw them on DVD and I wouldn't call them new movies really. That's all bye.

On the net, being spoiled is usually a 50/50 endeavor. Without the other 50 there is no 100, so it's an act contributed by both parties.

I've never been spoiled if I hadn't wanted to be.

I can understand if the info was dropped out of the blue during an innocent conversation. In those cases your anger is justified, but netwise if you're truely tired of spoilers, you might as well disconnect yourself with the topic entirely until you find out for yourself what happens. Only then will you be 100% safe. If not, you're only setting yourself up..

I have a friend who constantly begs me to tell her what happens later on in manga, and when I finally give in and tell her, she cries for spoiling it.

I have spoiled a lot of series for myself. I am watching them, reach a slow bit, do a little internet stuff, then WHAMMO i've spoiled it

This happened when i found out about gash bell's

That sucked, but it won't even apply for scanlators for a while
